

Abus Tanapima
Abus was exposed to Western music from an early age, specializing in R&B while
seamlessly incorporating bold Reggae and Afro-Cuban styles. She effortlessly transitions
between upbeat and slow songs, showcasing remarkable versatility.
Creating music in her native Bunun language, she excels at blending indigenous lyrics
with Western musical elements, transforming traditional melodies into contemporary
pop music. Her songwriting reflects daily life, emotions, and deep passion, expressing
herself fearlessly through her lyrics and voice.
Her album ABUS earned nominations in four major categories at the 34th Golden Melody Awards and was also recognized at the 14th Golden Indie Music Awards. Building on this success, her concept album QUEENDOM received six nominations at the 36th Golden Melody Awards, including Best Indigenous Language Singer, Song of the Year, and Best Single Producer. The album’s standout track, “BUNUN,” produced by Hai Da Fu, won the award for Best Single Producer.
