DJ Giyu

A queer Indigenous DJ from Taitung, Taiwan, blending everyday life, global dance music, and ancestral sounds into soulful, high-energy sets. Raised in a family dedicated to preserving Indigenous culture and traditions, Giyu incorporates elements such as the nose flute alongside hip-hop, reggae, and club rhythms to create deeply grounded dance floor experiences.

Graduated from a visual arts major, Giyu is also a painter and handcraft artist,a truly multifaceted creative whose work moves between sound, image, craft, and community.
